Associate Mechanical Engineer - Building Services Design

Associate Mechanical Engineer – Frankfurt Excellent opportunity for an experienced Associate Mechanical Engineer to play a key role in the growth of an expanding MEP design team within an international engineering and design consultancy delivering complex mission critical and data centre projects across Europe. The Resolute Group is working in partnership with an international engineering and design consultancy to support the growth of their Frankfurt-based MEP team. This position will focus on the technical design and coordination of mechanical building services systems across large-scale data centre and mission critical developments. Lead the mechanical design delivery of data centre and mission critical projects across multiple project stages Develop and review mechanical building services designs including HVAC, cooling, ventilation, and associated systems Coordinate mechanical design activities with electrical, architectural, structural, and specialist engineering disciplines Ensure all mechanical designs comply with German regulations, international standards, and client requirements Support design management activities including programme coordination, technical reviews, and design workshops Attend and lead technical meetings with clients, contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders Review existing installations, surveys, and technical assessments to support refurbishment and upgrade projects Support value engineering, sustainability initiatives, and energy-efficient design strategies across projects Assist with construction-stage technical support, commissioning activities, and design issue resolution Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering Several years of experience delivering mechanical building services design for data centre, mission critical, or large-scale commercial projects Strong knowledge of mechanical design software and engineering calculation tools Proficiency in MS Office applications including Excel and Word Ability to manage multiple design packages and work to project deadlines Fluent English language skills required; German language skills (minimum B2 level) desirable If you are interested in this position, please feel free to apply through this link or contact Meike Tomlinson via LinkedIn or call The Resolute Group on 0044 (0) 1332 653 911.
