Job Description
The Resolute Group is working in partnership with a well-established international consultancy that is seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer to strengthen its Data Centre design capability.
This role is ideally suited to an electrical engineer with strong experience in mission-critical environments such as Data Centres or similarly complex facilities (e. g. pharmaceutical projects).
You will play a key role in delivering technically robust electrical designs while providing leadership and direction within project teams.
- Day-to-Day Duties
- Take technical ownership of electrical design delivery for large-scale Data Centre projects from concept through to construction.
- Lead, coordinate, and mentor electrical design teams, ensuring high-quality outputs that meet programme, budget, and client requirements.
- Act as the primary electrical technical interface for clients, multidisciplinary consultants, and internal stakeholders.
- Develop and review electrical design solutions, ensuring compliance with relevant standards, codes, local regulations, and client specifications.
- Review and approve electrical design documentation, calculations, and specifications, ensuring accuracy, resilience, and constructability.
- Collaborate closely with mechanical, structural, and architectural teams to deliver fully coordinated designs.
- Support project managers with technical input on programme, risk management, value engineering, and cost optimisation.
- Contribute to business development activities by providing electrical expertise for bids, proposals, and client presentations.
Qualifications and Experience
- Proven experience as a Lead or Senior Electrical Engineer on
Data Centre projects, ideally within a design consultancy environment.
- Strong technical background in electrical building services or power engineering, with hands‑on design experience.
- Experience leading electrical teams and coordinating with multidisciplinary design teams on complex projects.
- Excellent command of English and ideally German (written and spoken).
- Familiarity with international standards, client requirements, and construction practices relevant to mission-critical facilities.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
