The Role

The Suite is seeking a Marketing Communications Manager to own and elevate our member, sponsor, and prospect communications.

This role will drive end-to-end content across newsletters, go-to-market (GTM) campaigns, company announcements, re-engagement initiatives, and daily engagement flows—ensuring alignment with strategic priorities, quarterly KPIs, and our established brand voice.

  • What You’ll Do
  • Lead content planning, production, and editorial operations for newsletters and nurture sequences across core Suite audiences, managing calendars, contributors (internal and freelance), and workflow efficiency through clear processes and everyday AI tool usage.
  • Develop and execute GTM strategies for key initiatives and product launches, collaborating cross-functionally to craft impactful content for awareness, activation, retention, and new sponsorship engagement.
  • Coordinate with the rest of the marketing team to ensure messaging across organic social and earned channels aligns with lifecycle and brand strategy.
  • Repurpose internal content into thought leadership, case studies, and demand-gen materials for both outbound and owned channels.
  • Drive performance for content and prospect nurture across email and web: test messaging, analyze engagement data, and apply insights to improve opens, conversions, and strategic impact, partnering with other marketing team members on flow architecture and analytics.
  • Own sponsor-facing communications alongside member-facing content, adapting tone and approach as appropriate.
  • Manage a roster of contractors, freelancers, and internal collaborators to achieve editorial quality and timely delivery.
  • What You’ll Bring
  • 5–8 years in content marketing, lifecycle/email marketing, or marketing communications—ideally in membership or community-led organizations where segmentation is critical.
  • Experience working with lawyers on communications
  • Demonstrated ability to own and execute a content calendar end-to-end, including planning, stakeholder alignment, and sign-off.
  • Strong copywriting and editing skills with a consistent brand voice adaptable to members, sponsors, and prospects.
  • Deep understanding of email/lifecycle marketing tactics: audience segmentation, nurture and re-engagement flows, and measurement.
  • Proven ability to translate business and product strategy into high-performing external-facing content.
  • Power user of marketing automation tools (ideally Hub Spot, but other major ESP/CRM platforms welcome).
  • Fluent in analytics: comfortable interpreting open/click/conversion data and applying learnings to iterate messaging.
  • Everyday proficiency in AI content tools, with sound judgment for when human review is essential.
  • Experience managing a mix of contractors/freelancers and internal contributors; people-leadership or mentoring is a plus.
  • Comfortable as the voice behind both sponsor- and member-facing communications.
  • About The Suite

We are a team of ~80 of the world’s greatest community builders and technologists.

We build high-quality and highly-curated professional communities.

We run two of these communities today, including our flagship The L Suite / Tech GC, which is a private, invite-only community for General Counsels / Chief Legal Officers and their teams at high-growth tech companies and venture funds, and The F Suite, which is a private, invite-only community for Chief Financial Officers and their teams.

We currently have 5,000+ active members across our communities, representing C‑Suite executives and their deputies from most of today’s leading tech companies (e. g., Open AI, Anthropic, Airbnb, Slack, Coinbase, Uber, Notion, Bolt, Figma, Airtable, Dropbox, Bilt, Datadog, etc.) and venture funds (e. g., a16z, Softbank, Tiger, Accel, Thrive, Battery Ventures, First Mark, Kleiner Perkins, Insight, etc.).

Each of our communities is unique, but they are all underpinned by our custom-built member platform - the Braintrust.

The Braintrust has rapidly emerged as the next evolution of the professional community platform, powering real-time conversations with the right peers at the right time as well as personalized research, insights, and strategies.

The Braintrust is one of the strategic pillars supporting our mission to help today’s business leaders excel in their jobs with better and faster answers to their most pressing challenges.

We are a well-funded, profitable, and rapidly scaling startup with a high-impact team.

What Makes Us Unique

We fill a painful hole in the market at an unprecedented time in history.

As executives are being pressured to master AI and “do more with less” while at the same time navigating an increasingly complex business environment, the right information and perspective has become harder and harder to find.

The dominant networking platforms of the day are too broad and diluted to be effective resources, and it has become difficult to parse through the noise and misinformation to hone in on what really matters.

Executives are rapidly retreating back to private, trusted communities for their information, support, and their most interesting conversations.

That’s where we come in.

We connect executives to their most valuable resource - their peers - through a highly-curated collection of professional communities.

In addition to attending live events, our members get access to the Braintrust, which is a comprehensive research and curated networking platform enhanced by Lloyd (our community-powered AI agent).

After logging in, members are immediately connected with their closest peers, and are able to leverage their knowledge and experience for advice, service provider recommendations, benchmarking data, peer coaching/mentorship, and much more.

The Braintrust also features a resource library with hundreds of educational videos, templates, and other materials from our community events.
