The Job
In this role, you will :
- Design, deploy, and optimize Akamai solutions (Ion, Image Manager, Kona Site Defender, EdgeWorkers) to ensure high performance, availability and security
- Implement edge caching strategies, traffic offload, acceleration techniques, and bot management capabilities to improve web performance and security
- Design and maintain Azure networking services including Virtual Networks, Hub & Spoke architectures, Virtual WAN, Azure Firewall, VPN Gateway, ExpressRoute, Application Gateway, and Load Balancers
- Implement and manage Azure Landing Zones aligned with governance, security, and connectivity standards
- Design and maintain Azure routing , network segmentation, and hybrid connectivity solutions across cloud and on-premises environments
- Manage security controls across Akamai and Azure platforms, including WAF, DDoS protection, firewall policies, and private connectivity
- Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and security teams to integrate CDN, cloud, and network services
- Develop and maintain automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and CI/CD solutions
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize CDN, cloud, and network services
- Contribute to technical standards, governance, and best practices for cloud networking, security, and hybrid infrastructures
