Project Engineer – Mechanical (m/w/d | 80–100%)
Location: Baden – Schweiz (Switzerland) • Work model: Hybrid (high flexibility, part‑time possible).
Responsibilities
- Define and design machine components and assemblies.
- Create technical specifications and design requirements.
- Ensure compliance with standards and technical quality.
- Own the mechanical deliverables on Enduron Stirred Mill projects, from engineering through to delivery.
- Track progress, timelines and costs; align with project schedules.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation (data packs, drawings, technical manuals).
- Coordinate with EC&I, process and project teams to integrate the mechanical scope into the overall mill system.
- Conduct design reviews, risk assessments and mitigation strategies.
- Maintain structured, systematic collaboration with electrical, process and project management teams.
- Continuously improve project execution processes, procedures and tools.
- Adhere to safety: demonstrate 100% commitment to “Zero Harm” behavior.
Qualifications
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent (e.g., ETH, FH, HF, TS).
- 1–7 years of engineering experience, preferably in mining, heavy industry, rotating equipment or manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of design, manufacturing and engineering documentation.
- Experience with CAD/PLM (e.g., NX Teamcenter) an advantage.
- Good English skills; German a plus.
- Strong technical foundation, organization and communication skills.
- Ability to coordinate with vendors, internal teams and customer stakeholders effectively.
- Willingness to travel internationally (approximately 10%).
- Proactive problem‑solving and ability to manage multiple deliverables concurrently.
