Your mission
The Director of Program holds end-to-end accountability for the full suite of program components that carry fellows from early-stage ideas to concrete, environmentally impactful projects, as set out in the new fellowship concept for an annual intake of 250 fellows. This role sets the strategic direction for project support infrastructure and acceleration partnerships across both years of the program, and owns the budget that funds them. The Director translates program strategy into results by directing the two Program Leads and ensuring their work stays coherent across the full fellow journey.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Strategy & Delivery Leadership

Set direction for the end-to-end program components — venture coaching, the AI venture coach, and Project Scholarships — so they produce accountable, scaled outcomes for an annual intake of 250 fellows, working closely with the program team and other departments

Shape and approve programming that converts into concrete environmental innovation on the ground, holding accountability for the associated budget

Decide where the team invests across program components, using field experience and data to prioritize what actually drives environmental and entrepreneurial results
Project Support & Program Delivery

Set strategy and oversee execution for venture coaching (including the AI venture coach) and Project Scholarships

Supervise the milestone structure and community-based project support elements that keep fellow projects progressing

Provide relevant, effective content for the learning platform that supports fellow project milestones, in coordination with the team accountable for the platform's build-out
Partnerships & Impact Accountability

Advise on partnership priorities based directly on what fellows need to advance

Responsible for program-related KPIs, including Year 1 and Year 2 applied program outcomes

Own budgetary responsibility across program components, including venture coaching, the AI venture coach, content creation, and Project Scholarships

Cooperate with Compliance Officer to ensure exemplary financial stewardship of Project Scholarship funds and overall budget
Team Leadership

Direct the Year 1 and Year 2 Program Leads, ensuring consistent standards and close coordination between the two fellowship years

Proactively contribute to a high-functioning directors team, including cross-functional and cross-departmental collaboration
Your profile

Proven experience designing and scaling program components, coaching, acceleration, and portfolio management, that convert early-stage ideas into concrete outcomes

Track record managing budgets across multi-component program portfolios, including coaching, content, technology-enabled support, and scholarship funds

Strong people leadership experience directing program teams across cohorts or program years

Data-driven approach to prioritizing program investment based on field outcomes and impact evidence

Experience managing significant budget and teams with multiple freelancers.
