Responsibilities:
- Handle tasks and projects in the Technical Support department to improve efficiency.
- Provide technical communication between Production, R&D, and Global Tech Support.
- Conduct root cause analysis and actively participate in resolving technical issues.
- Collect, analyze, and report data to improve internal processes.
- Provide worldwide 3rd-line technical support for SEM/SDB products, especially systems released after 2002.
- Lead continuous improvement processes and postmortem analysis for support calls.
- Capture parts issues and collect Field Replaceable Unit (FRU) requests for microscopes and modules.
- Explore opportunities to reduce installation and warranty costs based on data analysis.
- Lead Global Technical Support tasks such as Process Improvement, Documentation, and Corrective/Preventive Actions.
- Seek opportunities to improve product quality.
- Follow effective documentation and management systems, including Environmental Management System.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor\’s degree or equivalent in Electronics, Mechanics, or related fields.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Eligible for electric regulation No. 250 §6.
- Proficient in English and Czech at least at B2 level.
- Ability to travel internationally less than 25% of the time.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Experience in project management.
- Knowledge of Product Data Management is an advantage.
