Environmental Conditions
Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards, Cleanroom: no hair products, jewelry, makeup, nail polish, perfume, exposed piercings, facial hair etc. allowed. No contact lens allowed; prescriptive glasses will be provided. Some PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs). Standing for full shift. Will work with hazardous/toxic materials.
Work Schedule
Rotational shift nights/weekends.

We are seeking an experienced Biotechnologist Operator to independently run and oversee bioprocess operations with minimal supervision.
Your Responsibilities
- Support operational and inspection readiness in Downstream manufacturing.
- Execute Process Validation and Cleaning validation protocols.
- Complete daily manufacturing activities, including equipment cleaning by CIP, COP, or SIP.
- Report and log issues related to manufacturing activities.
- Update progress in the shift handover file.
- Address issues during the shift with the Shift lead or Team lead.
- Manage materials for media, buffer, and equipment preparation.
- Ensure compliance with GMP regulations and SOPs.
- Troubleshoot cleaning and process recipes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for process improvements.
- Raise deviations related to media, buffer, and equipment preparation.
- Work independently with a strong GMP mindset.
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical, Food, or Chemistry preferred; equivalent experience considered.
- 3-5 years of experience in pharmaceuticals or biotechnology operations.
- 3-5 years in a GMP environment with good understanding of GMP and GDP.
- Fluent in English or German.
- Willing to learn, hands-on mentality.
- Willingness to work on a 3-shift rotation, including weekends, holidays, and nights.
- On-call duties encouraged based on planning.
