Chief Executive Officer at Theseus Robotics GroupChief Executive Officer at Theseus Robotics Group Company: Theseus Robotics Group AG Location: Opfikon-Glattbrugg / Zürich, Switzerland Workload: Full-time (100%), on-site in ZürichAbout Theseus Robotics Theseus Robotics Group AG is a Zürich-based ETH spin-off building autonomous dual-arm robots that restock supermarket shelves overnight, offered to retailers as Robotics-as-a-Service.Role purpose The CEO leads the company and is accountable to the Board for turning the business plan into funded, revenue-generating deployments with retailers in Switzerland and abroadKey responsibilities Strategy and financing: set and execute the strategy and business plan; lead fundraising, investor relations and financial planning; report to the Board on performance. Commercial development: own relationships with retail and logistics customers and partners; take them from demos and pilots to paid deployments; set pricing and go-to-market strategy. Operations and supply chain: oversee hardware suppliers, manufacturing partners and robot deployment operations in Europe and abroad. Legal and compliance: oversee contracts, employment, insurance and regulatory matters with external counsel, and make sure the company is ready for each deployment. Organisation: build and lead the team within the approved budget, set company goals and reporting routines, and align the executive team on priorities. External representation: represent the company to customers, investors, suppliers, authorities and the public, with travel in Switzerland and abroadRequired profile Bachelor's degree (required) in computer science, engineering or a related technical field; a management or business qualification is an advantage. Fluent English (required); German is an advantage. At least 3 years in a founder, CEO or managing director role with full P&L responsibility. Proven record of growing revenue in a technology-driven business, including B2B sales, commercial negotiations and strategic partnerships. Experience leading hardware, electronics or mechatronics product development, including R&D teams and manufacturing or production facilities. Experience building and managing international supply chains and supplier networks across Europe, Asia and North America. Strong background in software, machine learning or data science, enough to lead a robotics/AI company and work credibly with engineers. Track record in fundraising, investor relations and financial planning. Experience leading teams of 20+ people across several functions.
