As a highly motivated and skilled BIM Expert, you will join our dynamic Technical consulting team in Germany. As the Technical BIM Consultant, you will play a key role in spearheading the successful implementation of our BIM-centric products and Common Data Environments (CDE) solutions for our diverse clientele. You will be responsible for overseeing BIM-related projects, supporting clients in adopting our products, and providing expert guidance on BIM best practices and workflows.
What your day will look like
- Lead the planning, configuration, execution, and monitoring of BIM software implementations for our clients.
- Collaborate with the Sales and Customer Success teams to understand client requirements and tailor BIM solutions to meet their specific needs.
- Develop and deliver comprehensive BIM training programs for clients, both on-site and remotely.
- Provide ongoing technical support and assistance to clients during the implementation process and beyond.
- Troubleshoot and resolve BIM-related issues, working closely with our development and technical teams.
- Establish and maintain BIM standards and protocols across the organization, adhering to industry guidelines.
- Take on an advisory role in the further development of our BIM product range.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest BIM trends, tools, and advancements, and recommend improvements to our products accordingly.
- Collaborate with internal teams to define project scopes, objectives, and deliverables for BIM implementation projects.
- Utilize your expertise in Common Data Environments to support clients in implementing effective data management strategies.
- Assist in the customization and integration of CDE solutions within client workflows.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and addressing their concerns effectively.
- Engage with industry stakeholders to gather feedback and insights to continually enhance our BIM products.
What you need to fulfill the role
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Advanced degrees and certifications in BIM-related disciplines are a plus.
- Proven experience (1-3 years) as a BIM Manager, implementing BIM processes and tools in AEC projects.
- Expert knowledge of BIM software applications and CDE platforms, such as DESITE, EPLASS CDE, tpCDE, BIMcollab, Solibri.
- Strong understanding of BIM standards, protocols, and best practices (e.g., ISO19650, COBie, IFC).
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills to effectively train clients and convey technical concepts.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
