Construction companies used to use manual administration and physical paperwork for projects (sometimes hundreds of thousands of bits of paperwork for one project!). Using our construction intelligence solutions, businesses can go digital, which benefits everyone from the construction companies to the wider public. Our mission is to deliver digitalisation to make a safer, healthier and more sustainable AECO (Architecture, Engineering, Construction, Operations) industry. We are looking for a Director Product Marketing who develops effective marketing strategies and plans to communicate the features and benefits of products and solutions to customers. You will drive the transformation from product sales to solution sales and from features & functions to use cases.
What your day will look like
- Plan and execute product/feature launches across cross-functional teams (spanning Product, Marketing, Support, Sales) and related sales enablement and demand generation.
- Through interviews, surveys, data mining, competitive intelligence and sales data, gain insight into customer use of current products, untapped opportunities, and buyer profiles. Use this insight to build personas of the buyer across various industries, verticals, and business roles.
- Develop positioning that differentiates Thinkproject by understanding customer needs, product roadmap, market trends, and competitive forces.
- Communicate the use cases and benefits of Thinkproject to the sales and marketing teams and ensure that the content that is being created is helping to drive our ambitious growth trajectory.
- Work with Product Management to establish a continuous feedback loop (encompassing market trends, customer needs, and competitive factors) to influence the product development roadmap and mitigate product gaps.
- Drive transformation to a platform company, enabling solution sales and actively shape the new narrative, whilst taking the product marketing team on the journey.
What you need to fulfill the role
- University level education in business, marketing, architecture or construction engineering.
- 10+ years of professional product marketing experience, Functional expertise or method expertise in SaaS, software, B2B, preferably in construction tech or asset management tech.
- 5 years experience in a leadership role.
- Proven track record in transformation and change management.
- English / German, French is a plus.
