Thinkproject is a European market-leader in digitalisation tools for construction companies. It sounds complex, but we’ll explain further! Construction companies used to use manual administration and physical paperwork for projects (sometimes hundreds of thousands of bits of paperwork for one project!). Using our construction intelligence solutions, businesses can go digital, which benefits everyone from the construction companies to the wider public.

What your day will look like

• Design, develop and test new and existing web-based applications using modern JavaScript and its frameworks (React)
• Work collaboratively to define and develop new and existing software features
• Carry out technical analysis and investigation, including evaluating and selecting technical options
• Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
• Translating designs and wireframes into high quality code using modern CSS frameworks
• Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers
• Working alongside UX designers and testers
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing systems
• Produce comprehensive suites of automated unit and integration tests to ensure code quality
• Coordinate with and demonstrate work to Product Owners and other stakeholders

What you need to fulfill the role

• Demonstrable experience in front-end software development using React, html, Javascript
• Strong desire to push the boundaries of technology solutions with experimentation and technology ecosystem engagement
• Strong critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience in mentoring and coaching of software engineers
• Knowledge of Agile Software Development methodologies
• Public cloud experience with Microsoft Azure
• Good understanding of best UX / UI practises
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Good leadership and motivational skills
• 5+ years of experience developing production quality software
• Nice to have: knowledge of API design principles
