As a working student, you\’ll have opportunities to work with the sharpest minds in private equity funds. They will rely on you to identify and connect them with specialists who offer crucial insights. To do so, you\’ll gather a unique set of commercial skills that will help you deliver extraordinary results and grow professionally. Your focus will be on identifying and engaging with industry experts—the specialists who provide the key knowledge our clients rely on for important decisions. While you won\’t interact directly with clients as a working student, you\’ll need to understand their project needs to ensure you\’re connecting them with the right expertise.
This role will help you develop crucial soft skills such as:
- Prioritisation and time management through working in a fast-paced client-driven environment.
- Confidence and communication skills as you learn to reach out to senior industry executives and key opinion leaders and engage with them over the phone.
Your impact:
The projects can be complex, but the impact is meaningful; every day you will get to hear directly from your clients, experts, and colleagues about the difference you have made.
You will be working on our fastest-growing accounts to drive success for a rapidly expanding organization.
You will be responsible for:
- Expert Sourcing: Use our internal database and external directories to identify specialists who match the clients\‘ project requirements.
- Expert Outreach and Introduction to Third Bridge: Proactively reach out to potential experts via phone and email, often through cold calls, to engage them for specific projects.
- Project Understanding: Analyse client briefs and uncover key issues relevant to specific companies or industries to help you find the right expert profile for each project.
- Team Collaboration: Partnering with senior team members across our global organisation to support key project deliverables while working as part of a dynamic team environment.
- Expert Engagement: Build relationships with experts, explain the project context, and coordinate their participation through interviews or meetings.
- Coordination & Follow-Up: Manage all expert-related logistics, ensuring seamless communication and timely scheduling for each project.
Qualifications:
- You are currently studying towards a Bachelor\’s or Master\’s degree and are available to work part-time for at least 3 months.
- Business fluent in English and German (written and oral Level C1 and above).
- Able to work onsite at our office in Munich on your working days (relocation and housing not provided).
- Prior experience evidencing an interest in business is a plus.
Areas that play to your strengths:
- You must be able to deliver high-quality work on a deadline. You will be working on lots of active workstreams simultaneously, but that doesn\’t scare you; in fact, it excites you, and you\’re confident in your ability to multitask and remain organised.
- The Founders Mentality completely resonates with you as this approach is part of our DNA. You\’re an independent thinker who feels energised by the freedom Associates have to come up with the best solutions for their clients.
- You\’re a clear communicator who can create the right narrative to share your ideas with a wide range of people. You find that conversations often lead to strong relationships with people because you easily connect.
- Your attitude is to roll up your sleeves, and you enjoy being in the thick of the action. It matters a great deal to you to understand how your performance ranks against your own potential and against others.
