Within Germany, their global S/4HANA transformation is currently going live and are looking for consultants to help across this rollout.The main SAP hub is located in Stuttgart and are looking for an In-House SAP Data Migration Consultant.This is an English speaking roleRole OverviewDesign, implement, and execute data migrations for master and transactional data from legacy ERP systems into SAP S/4.Analyze legacy ERP data structures, develop mapping rules for S/4, and create custom migration objects as needed.Work closely with business teams on data cleansing and data enrichment activities.Create robust and reusable data migration routines and mappings using BODS and Migration Cockpit.Plan data migration cycles, considering data object dependencies, ensuring comprehensive test scenarios, and supporting the creation of cutover plans.Oversee data migration execution, establish data quality rules, and initiate performance enhancements.QualificationsDegree in Information Technology, Informatics, Business, or a related field.Experience in data migrations for global SAP rollout projects, ideally S/4 HANA.Knowledge of SAP Migration Object Modeler and custom migration object design.Understanding of SAP data structures and business processes in Sales, Logistics/Production, and/or Finance/Controlling.Skilled in SQL and SQL Script with basic programming experience in ABAP and debugging.Basic knowledge of data modelling and data architecture, preferably within a data warehousing environment.Please reach out to Elliot Wraight – SAP Europe Specialist at ejw@thor-companies.com+498954196587Seniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionConsulting, Information Technology, and AnalystIndustriesIT Services and IT Consulting, Manufacturing, and IT System Testing and Evaluation #J-18808-Ljbffr
