Design Engineer (m/w/x)

Responsibilities:

• Collaboration with the development team and production team
• Development and launching of mechatronic components, assemblies, and devices in photonics
• Execution of assembly testing
• Preproduction troubleshooting and debugging support
• Design of optomechanical components
• Preparing manufacturing, assembly, and customer drawings and object lists
• Support for compliance and general documentation (e.g., Machinery Directive, Product Manual)

Qualifications:

• Skilled in using 3D-CAD software (preferably SolidWorks)
• Experience in project management
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Focussed and determined in DFMA
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to work in a collegial environment within other departments and globally
• Daily communication with all partners in the development team and collaboration with the production team
• Strong solution-oriented communication skills with the ability to inform, train, and support
