- Collaborate with sales/pre-sales to clarify requirements, design viable solutions, and lead complex pursuits with technical/executive stakeholders
- Set a clear vision for the data paradigm aligned with business strategy
- Engage executive stakeholders to understand objectives and opportunities for data and data quality
- Consult on complex data platform programs, align architectural concerns, and provide client-facing technical leadership as a data SME
- Design and develop intricate data processing pipelines addressing challenging client problems
- Collaborate with data scientists to design scalable production of models
- Write clean, iterative code using TDD and enable continuous delivery of data pipelines
- Design and implement data governance, security, and privacy strategies to support business/compliance needs
- Mentor engineers and build the next generation of the team
- Lead through influence to raise delivery standards and grow market presence through thought leadership and ecosystem initiatives
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Extensive pre-sales experience with proven ability to drive complex pursuits and create winning proposals
- Hands-on capability in at least one or two core technologies while leading a team
- Experience with Domain-Driven Design for enterprise systems
- Experience building and operating big-data architectures, data pipelines, and distributed storage/processing systems
- Deep understanding of data modeling and modern data engineering tools, including cloud warehousing
- Experience deploying large-scale data pipelines and data-centric applications in production
- Experience with real-time/low-latency data streaming (cloud and on-prem)
- Experience with data visualization to communicate insights to varied audiences
- Experience defining and implementing data governance and security policies; knowledge of MLOps and data science concepts
