Fund Finance Manager | Single Family Office in Hamburg

Our client is an established investment firm with a strong focus on private markets.

We are looking for a Liquidity & Fund Operations Manager to take ownership of treasury and liquidity management across the firm's investment activities.

In this hands-on role, you will work closely with the investment and finance teams, proactively manage liquidity risks, and contribute to the further development of treasury processes, reporting, and infrastructure.

Your Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day cash flows and ensure sufficient liquidity for operational and investment requirements
• Prepare short-term liquidity forecasts in collaboration with the investment team, including capital calls and distributions
• Monitor cash investments, including term deposits, money market funds, and short-duration fixed income instruments
• Reconcile capital calls, distributions, and NAV updates within the portfolio management system
• Develop and maintain treasury reporting, dashboards, and analytical tools
• Support banking relationships, financing discussions, and credit line management
• Identify and mitigate financial and operational risks, including fraud prevention and internal controls
• Continuously optimize treasury processes, reporting infrastructure, and portfolio management systems

Your Profile

• 2–5 years of professional experience in treasury, liquidity management, fund operations, or a comparable function
• Background in asset management, investment firms, family offices, corporate treasury, or corporate banking
• Understanding of private markets structures, capital calls, distributions, and GP reporting processes, or a strong interest in developing this expertise
• Strong analytical capabilities and a commercial mindset
• Affinity for data analysis, financial modelling, and reporting tools; Python or BI experience is a plus
• Independent, proactive working style with a high degree of ownership
• Strong attention to detail and a sound understanding of financial risks and controls
• Fluency in German and English
