Project Manager – Power Converters

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to lead the delivery of customized power-conversion solutions for industrial and infrastructure customers.

You will take ownership of technically complex projects, guiding them from the initial customer discussion through engineering and production to commissioning and ongoing technical support.

• Your Responsibilities
• Manage multiple power-conversion projects from initial concept through to final delivery.
• Translate customer requirements into practical and commercially viable technical solutions.
• Act as the primary contact for customers, suppliers and internal engineering teams.
• Coordinate the electrical and mechanical development of inverter and converter systems.
• Define and manage system interfaces involving transformers, cooling equipment, drives, switchgear, protection technology and control systems.
• Oversee project schedules, technical deliverables, documentation and engineering changes.
• Work closely with development, production, testing and service teams to ensure successful project execution.
• Support factory testing, site commissioning and technical fault resolution when required.
• Contribute directly to areas such as PLC programming, filter design or mechanical engineering, depending on your experience and interests.
• Potentially support technical sales activities following suitable training.
• Your Background
• University degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, Automation Engineering or a related subject.
• Experience delivering complex electrical or multidisciplinary engineering projects is preferred.
• Knowledge of power converters, inverter technology, drives, switchgear or industrial electrical systems would be beneficial.
• Strong communication skills and confidence working directly with customers and suppliers.
• Structured, responsible and solution-focused working style.
• Interest in solving new technical challenges and working across varied applications.
• Fluent German and English.
• Valid Class B driving licence.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for customer meetings and commissioning activities.
