  • Calculate cable lengths and specify suitable cables, connectors, junctions and related electrical components.
  • Prepare technical bills of materials to support costing, quotations, procurement and project delivery.

  • Document project changes, requirements and technical decisions.

  • Ideally, experience designing ground-mounted PV installations, solar-farm layouts, DC cabling systems or comparable electrical infrastructure.
  • Applications are also welcomed from technically capable graduates looking to develop their careers within solar energy.
  • Confident user of AutoCAD; knowledge of specialist PV design software would be advantageous.
  • Able to interpret technical drawings and system designs and convert them into workable solutions.
  • Careful, organised and solution-focused working style.
  • Comfortable communicating with customers and coordinating across different internal departments.
  • Willingness to undertake occasional customer visits and site assignments.
  • German proficiency of at least C1 and English proficiency of at least B2.

What is offered

  • A permanent role within the growing renewable energy industry.
  • Flexible working hours and limited home-working opportunities following successful onboarding.
  • Company vehicle with private-use options.
  • Structured induction and support from an experienced colleague.
  • Individual training and professional development opportunities.
