Our expertise ranges from project development and financing solutions to global logistics-making making us a reliable partner throughout the entire supply and value chain.Your responsibilitiesTogether with your team, you will ensure the monitoring and effective management of price risks in international commodities tradingEnsuring and further developing the calculation and reporting of relevant price risks in the international commodities businessManaging derivative risk positions within defined risk mandates, in close coordination with the front officeCompliance with relevant internal TK and external reporting requirements (including EMIR)Leading and developing a team of five FTEs; additionally, providing technical guidance to two decentralised risk controllers based abroadActing as an active sparring partner for the trading division regarding hedging instruments, trading strategies, products and portfolio developmentSupporting and guiding the business in the implementation of new transactions and strategies, including coordination with TK AG’s central finance department as well as external brokers and banksIdentifying and realising opportunities for improvement through the use of digital tools (Power BI, artificial intelligence, etc.)Your profileA successfully completed degree in economicsExpert in hedging and, consequently, international trading of commodity derivative positions on the London Metal Exchange (LME)Experienced in designing and implementing risk analyses and hedging strategiesCommercial mindset, strong stakeholder focus, hands-on approach and results-oriented attitudeExperience in effectively leading and developing teamsExcellent communication and presentation skills, and the ability to explain complex topics clearlyA personable manner with good communication skills in German and EnglishEmpathy and a sense of humourDon’t meet all the criteria in the job posting but still want to join tk accelis?
