We are looking for a software engineer who wants to be part of Tietoevry Industry. Tietoevry Industry is an innovative frontrunner specializing in segment-specific software and data platform services. Our software is designed in close collaboration with our customers and based on our extensive industry knowledge and in-depth expertise.

Our German team is part of the Pulp, Paper & Fiber business unit. Our ERP and MES system is specifically designed to meet the needs of our customers in the paper and packaging industries. Through our industry-specific solutions, we help our clients optimize their value chains and strengthen their competitiveness.

As part of a strategic project, we are modernizing an existing solution for pricing in the packaging industry into a modern, cloud-native SaaS solution. To support this, we are looking for new team members who wish to join us.

When joining Tietoevry Industry as a Software Engineer, you will:

• Immerse yourself in existing (legacy) technologies and document their functionality. This documentation will serve as the foundation for developing the future architecture, to which you will actively contribute.

• Develop the new software product using C#/.NET Core, React, and other technologies, based on the defined architecture and business requirements.

• Actively participate in knowledge transfer and create technical documentation.

• Collaborate closely with German and international teams, as well as communicate regularly with colleagues and clients from various countries.

Who we are looking for:

• Ideally first experience in software development with the following technologies: C#/.NET Core, React, SQL and/or PL/SQL.

• Willingness to learn and an interest in contributing to the redesign of a SaaS product for the packaging industry.

• Interest in communicating with internal and external stakeholders to understand their needs.

• Fluent language skills in German and English, verbally and in writing.
