When joining Tieto Tech Consulting as a Web Accessibility Tester, you
Conduct accessibility audits of websites and mobile apps using appropriate testing methods and tools
Translate findings into clear, practical accessibility reports and recommendations
Advise project teams and customers on technical solutions that support accessible digital experiences
Collaborate with local and international teams from initial concepts through implementation
Contribute your perspective to future-oriented projects and help strengthen accessibility expertise within the team
Who We Are Looking For
Experience with accessibility testing, for example screen readers, browser-based testing or auditing tools as well as developing accessible websites, apps or documents
Hands-on experience with assistive technologies, such as screen readers
Knowledge of accessibility standards such as WCAG, EN 301 549 or PDF/UA
Hands-on experience with HTML5, CSS3 or JavaScript
Interest in user experience and usability
Professional working proficiency in German and English, enabling you to confidently communicate with customers and project teams
A precise, structured and reliable way of working
Curiosity, an open mindset and the initiative to question existing approaches and drive improvements
As an individual, you are passionate about web accessibility and the needs of people with disabilities. Furthermore, you are proactive and act with open mind by challenging the status quo and drive actions for change. The monthly gross salary for this position will start from € 3.954,00 (based on IT collective agreement, ST1 Regelstufe) on a full-time basis, depending on your qualifications and experience. Our aim is to provide you with a salary package that is both competitive and reflective of your relevant experience, while also aligning with current market standards.
