Client Onboarding Specialist (6‑Month Contract) – Zurich, Switzerland
Tiger Recruitment is seeking an experienced Client Onboarding Specialist to join a leading private banking institution on a 6‑month contract based in Zurich, Switzerland. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail‑oriented financial services professional with experience in client onboarding, account opening, account migration, or relationship management support. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting a large‑scale account migration project, ensuring seamless client onboarding, regulatory compliance, and asset transfers within strict project deadlines. Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to‑end client onboarding and account opening processes Review account documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance Prepare and process account opening documentation Perform data input and account setup within core banking systems Coordinate and instruct asset transfers as part of client account migrations Partner closely with Relationship Managers, AML, and Compliance teams to ensure adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements Support the migration of client accounts while maintaining exceptional service standards Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of onboarding activities Identify potential risks or documentation gaps and proactively resolve issues Ensure all client information is handled with the highest level of discretion and confidentiality Candidate Profile
Essential Minimum
3 years’ experience within financial services Previous experience in Client Onboarding, Account Migration, Private Banking Operations, Account Opening, or Relationship Manager/Client Service Support Experience working within a private banking or wealth management environment Familiarity with core banking, custody, or order management systems Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks including MiFIDII, Dodd‑Frank, EMIR, FATCA/CRS, GDPR, and other relevant jurisdictional requirements Fluent English (written and spoken) Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple departments Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under tight deadlines High levels of professionalism, integrity, and discretion when handling sensitive client information Preferred
Experience with project management tools such as JIRA and Confluence Previous experience supporting legal entity or large‑scale account migration projects, including post‑Brexit migrations Additional European languages are advantageous Experience working within a BigFour consultancy or transformation/change management environment Personal Qualities
