The authenticity of TikTok has created a new way for brands and merchants to meaningfully connect with creators and the community. Through an innovative E-commerce platform that helps shoppers discover and purchase products within the app, TikTok E-commerce enhances promotion and sales for merchants and brands with an entertaining user experience. We are looking for someone with an entrepreneurial spirit, who is adaptable, collaborative, and able to work with multiple merchants and internal stakeholders in a fast-paced and exciting environment.
Role & Responsibilities
- Responsible for one of the following categories: Home & Living, Electronics, or FMCG.
- Map the category landscape and define priorities for segment development in collaboration with partners.
- Build the category/sub-category and develop a clear roadmap to manage long-tail partners.
- Plan, execute, and maintain category performance.
- Partner acquisition and onboarding: identify potential partners, build onboarding solutions (including business model suggestions, creator affiliation, partner education), and set up their mid and long-term account plans to help them grow sustainably on the platform.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and external service vendors to assist partners with content on the platform.
- Own internal projects to contribute to the category’s ecosystem, including campaigns, product launches, and B2B marketing.
- Develop initiatives to continuously improve competitive advantage.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- 1+ years of relevant experience in Business Development, Sales, Account Management, User Acquisition, or related fields.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, negotiation, logical thinking, and analytical skills.
- Customer service orientation with experience in a client-facing role.
- Strong understanding of social content, with a preference for livestream and short-video experience.
- Fluent in English and German to facilitate communication with German stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong network of German selling partners and knowledge of the German e-commerce landscape, consumer demands, or digital trends.
- Growth-driven, result-oriented, with a business mindset.
- Collaborative, adaptable to change, and eager to learn.
- Fast learner with good judgment and original thinking.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity and adapt quickly.
