For our long-standing business partner AIRBUS we are looking for you as a new employee of Tintschl Technik GmbH to join our team as Weight and Balance Engineer (d/m/w)
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Eurofighter mass properties, including handling customer requests, preparing and evaluating aircraft weighings, and supervising weighings on-site.
- Collect and analyze mass-related data using CATIA V5, including calculations of mass, volume, surface area, and center of gravity.
- Transfer component dimensions from drawings in CATIA for inertia calculations.
- Evaluate modifications and upgrades, check calculated masses against targets, and enter data into databases.
- Conduct material/component studies and analyze RFAs and modifications.
Requirements:
- Candidates must be eligible to work on military or NATO projects with the necessary security clearances (Ü2).
- Degree (Master/Diploma) in Aerospace Engineering or equivalent.
- 3–5 years’ experience in mass properties, aircraft design, statics, MDO, or loads.
- Detailed expertise in MS Office, CATIA V5, and knowledge of VPM and Teamcenter (PDM).
- Knowledge of standards, drawing processes, and BoM required.
- Fluent English. Good command of German.
