For our long-standing business partner AIRBUS we are looking for you as a new employee of Tintschl Technik GmbH to join our team as Systems & Regulatory Compliance Engineer (m/f/d)
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
Quality Assurance & Technical Documentation
- Review and verify schematics, layouts, technical drawings, and system specifications to ensure maximum accuracy.
- Ensure compliance of all technical documents with internal quality standards and established development processes.
- Monitor workflows and intervene with corrective actions in case of deviations to maintain process integrity.
- Support MBSE modeling (SysML) using Cameo and maintain product documentation within Confluence.
- Draft technical manuals and documentation clearly in both English and German, managing configuration control.
Product Regulatory Compliance (PRC) & Certification
- Act as the central interface and point of contact between project teams and the regulatory department.
- Conduct risk analyses on development projects to identify potential regulatory hurdles at an early stage.
- Support the certification process and CE marking activities to ensure product marketability.
- Manage the product lifecycle (Safety File) from the design and prototyping phases through to final manufacturing.
Innovation & Digitalization
- Optimize processes by integrating and utilizing modern AI tools.
- Create, translate, and refine technical content and texts efficiently using AI support.
- Master’s degree (or equivalent qualification) in Electrical, Aerospace, Mechanical, or Management Engineering, or in Technical Writing.
- Continuous relevant training backed by proven professional experience.
- Solid understanding of electrical circuits and strong ability to review electrical schematics.
- Proficiency in handling technical drawings and decoding complex system descriptions.
- Proven track record in verifying electrical schematics, managing Product Regulatory Compliance (PRC), and drafting technical manuals.
- Essential knowledge of regulatory requirements (e.g., EC directives, ISO standards) and hands‑on experience conducting risk analyses.
IT Skills
- In-depth specialist knowledge and excellent command of the MS Office suite.
- Experience with Confluence and familiarity with (or a strong willingness to learn) Cameo Systems Modeler / SysML.
- Proficiency in leveraging modern AI tools to optimize text, translations, and documentation workflows.
Language Skills
- German and English: Minimum business-fluent level (essential).
Personal Attributes
- Meticulous attention to detail paired with a structured, conscientious, and analytical approach to work.
- Quick grasp of complex dynamics and a deep sense of responsibility regarding strict adherence to standards.
- Excellent communication skills to seamlessly manage and collaborate with diverse stakeholders across development, production, and project management teams.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Have)
- Previous experience in Quality Assurance (QA), Quality Management, or Regulatory Compliance.
- Background in highly regulated sectors, preferably within the Aerospace or Automotive industries.
