Procurement Specialist / Buyer (m/f/d) Aerospace

Your Tasks - Management of procurement activities for components, materials and/or services within aerospace projects - Preparation and execution of requests for quotation and supplier selection processes - Negotiation of commercial conditions, prices, delivery schedules and contractual terms - Management and follow-up of purchase orders throughout the procurement lifecycle - Monitoring of supplier performance regarding cost, quality and delivery - Identification and mitigation of procurement and supplier-related risks - Coordination with Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing and Finance - Support of sourcing strategies and supplier development activities - Preparation of procurement analyses, reports and KPI monitoring - Participation in supplier negotiations, reviews and escalation meetings - Ensuring compliance with internal procurement processes and customer requirements Your Profile - Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Engineering or a comparable qualification - Professional experience in Procurement, Purchasing, Strategic Sourcing or Commodity Management - Professional experience within the aerospace or aviation industry is highly desirable - Previous Airbus procurement experience or experience working within the Airbus supplier environment is strongly preferred - Good understanding of procurement processes, supplier management and commercial negotiations - Experience with SAP or comparable procurement/ERP systems is an advantage - Strong negotiation, analytical and communication skills - Independent and structured working style with a strong sense of responsibility - Comfortable working in international and cross-functional environments - Fluent English and German is required Professional careers do not always run perfectly or in a straight line.
