For our long-standing business partner AIRBUS Defence and Space, we are looking for you as a new employee of Tintschl Technik Gmb H.
The position holder works as IT Operations Manager – IT Software Engineering.
- Your Tasks
- Ensure the provisioning of new software packages and software upgrades
- Maintain the IT infrastructure in operational condition in line with OLA/SLA requirements
- Monitor and track system performance against agreed service-level agreements (SLAs)
- Communicate product improvements, updates and obsolescence management to the IT Product Manager
- Perform ITIL-based support processes including Incident, Problem, Change, Configuration and Event Management
- Analyze console messages, diagnose system failures and implement corrective actions while coordinating with technical teams and vendors when required
- Identify and implement technologies and processes that improve the reliability, efficiency and availability of the systems environment
Your Profile
- Master’s degree or Diploma in Computer Science or a comparable qualification
- At least 4 years of experience in IT / information systems
- Excellent knowledge of configuration management tools
- Proficient in Linux (server and workstation environments)
- Proficient in Windows (server and workstation environments)
- Experience with tools such as Redmine, Sapienza Eclipse, Subversion, Git Lab, Jira or Confluence is an advantage
- Fluent German and English (negotiation level)
