Project Engineer – Sustainability (m/f/d) in Nordenham

For our long-standing business partner AIRBUS we are looking for you as a new employee of Tintschl Technik GmbH to join our team as Project Engineer – Sustainability (m/f/d) to lead sustainability projects focused on wastewater treatment, waste management and resource conservation.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

• Lead and manage sustainability projects in wastewater treatment, waste disposal and waste management.
• Optimise and modernise the central wastewater treatment plant.
• Implement measures for waste prevention, circular economy and resource conservation.
• Lead multifunctional teams and participate in environmental and sustainability committees.
• Plan and implement investments in waste disposal and wastewater treatment facilities.
• Prepare feasibility studies, decision-making documents and CAPEX requests.
• Collaborate with internal departments, external service providers and partners.
• A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Project Management, Civil Engineering, Engineering, Construction Project Management, Environmental Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a comparable technical field, or an advanced qualification as a Techniker / Meister.
• More than three years of experience in project leadership, project management and process improvement.
• Practical experience in wastewater engineering / wastewater treatment and/or commercial waste and disposal management.
• Knowledge of Google Workspace.
• Knowledge of identifying and incorporating environmental and sustainability funding opportunities would be an advantage.
