Software Verification Engineer Mission Support Systems (d/f/m)

For our long-standing business partner AIRBUS Defence and Space, we are looking for you as a new employee of Tintschl Technik GmbH.

The position holder (d/f/m) works as Software Verification Engineer – Mission Support Systems.

Your Tasks

• Execute software verification activities throughout the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, software architecture and design, implementation, verification and qualification within an agile environment
• Define, create and execute test procedures to verify software requirements and ensure software quality through regression and performance testing
• Maintain and extend the existing automated test suite for requirements, regression and performance testing
• Ensure compliance with DO-278 standards
• Work with project control, requirements management and version control tools such as Jira, Confluence, Jama and Git
• Contribute to agile development processes and identify opportunities for continuous improvement

Your Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a comparable qualification
• Strong background in software development with a focus on software testing
• Solid understanding of software and system testing activities as well as requirements traceability
• Strong foundation in object‑oriented programming, particularly within the Java ecosystem
• Experience with Jira and Confluence
• Experience with QF-Test is an advantage
• Knowledge of agile development methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
• Fluent English (negotiation level) and proficient German
