To support our growth we are looking for an experienced Head of Data (f / m / d) to expand and lead our data organization. Reporting to the CFO you will drive value creation through data insights, web analytics, AI-powered personalization, and customer-facing data products. You will manage a team of data professionals and collaborate with stakeholders across the company, particularly the CFO and CTO, to deliver impactful results.
Your responsibilities:
- The ideal candidate has been a Head of Data for 3 years with 7 years of work experience looking to increase their responsibility and drive a company-critical data function.
- Build and lead a data team (data engineers, analytics engineers, analysts).
- Build a data lake and web tracking capabilities enabling a data-lake-first 360 Customer Data Platform (CDP).
- Optimize customer journeys and enable AI-driven personalization.
- Define and track KPIs to track value creation, support financial planning, sales, and operations.
- Support customer service automation through the CDP.
- Create data analytics products for customers and partners.
- Establish data governance policies and ensure stakeholder alignment.
- Actively drive value creation through data-driven solutions.
Qualifications:
- Experience with data sets spanning billions of rows, dbt, ETL tools (e.g., Fivetran), and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Looker), ideally also orchestration tools such as Airflow or Prefect.
- Knowledge of web tracking tools (e.g., Snowplow) and cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks).
- Expertise in SQL, Python, and ideally also Spark.
- A/B testing, personalization, and experience with large language models is a plus.
- Proven leadership in managing data teams and aligning stakeholders.
