Power BI reporting solutions
for an end customer from the industrial and construction sectors cooperationprimarily in two main areas:
Customer Equipment Services Occupational Health & Safety Reporting
analysis of existing Power BI reporting solutions further development and expansion of existing reports and dashboards implementation of new business requirements analysis of complex reporting requirements direct communication with business users and stakeholders gathering, refining, and validating requirements design of an appropriate technical solution identification of optimization opportunities for existing reporting analysis and stabilization of existing Power BI solutions design and optimization of data models assessment of which business logic should be implemented in Power BI and which in the underlying data layer optimization of existing data and reporting processes troubleshooting and solving problems in existing reports cooperation with data and business teams documenting designed and implemented solutions

at least
5 years of practical experience with Microsoft Power BI senior
hands-on experience with developing Power BI solutions very good knowledge of
Power BI Desktop
and
Power BI Service advanced knowledge of
DAX experience with:
Power Query / M design and optimization of data models creation of complex reports and dashboards further development and stabilization of existing reporting direct communication with business stakeholders
ability to:
take over and understand an existing Power BI solution analyze complex business requirements transform business requirements into a technical reporting solution independently identify optimization opportunities
active knowledge of the German language at a communicative level (min. C1)
advanced knowledge of SQL experience with:
data modeling and data architecture Data Warehouse environment ETL / ELT semantic model design performance tuning of Power BI solutions complex enterprise reporting solutions Microsoft data ecosystem industrial or construction environment Occupational Health & Safety reporting consulting work directly with the end customer
ability to assess the appropriate distribution of business logic between Power BI and the data layer willingness to attend an introductory workshop in Vienna
ability to independently analyze existing solutions experience with technical documentation team player
