Area of Responsibility

  1. Achievement of operational and regional sales goals in the respective region.
  2. Business Development and generation of new market opportunities, distributors, and customers.
  3. Recruiting, selecting, training, scheduling, coaching, advising, and supervising agents, representatives, or sales offices in the assigned region.
  4. Technical support of customers and retailers, onsite if necessary.
  5. Technical and financial claim management in close cooperation with the departments.
  6. Planning and permutation of the marketing actions, for example, participation at trade fairs, congresses, etc.
  7. Preparing and reporting the sales figures.
  8. Analysis of competitors, market trends, and market potential.

Qualification and Experience

  1. At least 3 to 5 years of work experience in a Sales Manager position within the mining/steel or transportation industry.
  2. Proven track record of exceeding ambitious revenue and growth goals.
  3. Strong experience building and maintaining agency and client relationships.
  4. High national and international travel willingness.
  5. Interpersonal Savvy – getting along well with all kinds of people, building constructive and effective relationships.
  6. Fluent in written and spoken English and Russian. German would be of advantage.
