In order to support Embedded RTS Development, Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a Bachelor Thesis within Validation of Physics Informed Neural Networks PINNs (d/f/m).

Your tasks and responsibilities
- Research of PINN foundations and PINN simulator market analysis
- PINN simulator validation with respect to their generic, physical characteristics and regularities
- Development of PINN integration approach into an existing toolchain/framework
- Validation of an appropriate application scenario (pros & cons in terms of accuracy, net size, training set size, training effort, etc.)
Desired skills and qualifications
- Enrolled full-time student (d/f/m) in the area of Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or an equivalent field of study
- Experience with Supervised Learning/Reinforcement Learning
- Knowledge of Python programming
- Experience with Tensorflow/Keras/Pytorch or similar frameworks
- Profound knowledge in physics desirable
- Profound English or German language skills in speaking and writing
- Openness and willingness to learn new methods, tools, and skills
- Team-minded, willingness to work in an international and interdisciplinary team
- Good communication skills and autonomous way of working
