Job Description:
Strategic Planning and Execution:
- Develop and implement global licensing strategies aligned with business goals.
- Identify potential licensing opportunities that support the company’s portfolio.
Business Development and Partnerships:
- Negotiate and manage contracts with licensors and licensees.
- Establish and nurture strategic partnerships with other companies to expand market reach.
Market and Regulatory Analysis:
- Analyze market trends to identify licensing opportunities in different regions.
- Ensure compliance with international regulations related to licensing and intellectual property.
- Oversee the management of the product portfolio from a licensing perspective.
- Assess the profitability and potential of existing and new licenses.
Other Responsibilities:
- Cross-functional project management (e.g. sales, marketing, legal, supply chain).
- Prepare and manage budgets related to licensing activities.
- Assess and mitigate risks associated with licensing agreements and intellectual property.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Successfully completed studies in the field of economics or pharmacy.
- Relevant professional experience in the in-licensing of medicinal products.
- First management experience (also purely technical).
- Strong analytical skills combined with a strong understanding of business relationships.
- Exceptional communication skills and proven experience in negotiating product deals.
- Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English.
