The Strategic Design & Consulting (SDC) practice of Infosys Engineering Services focuses on engineering, design, and architecture to solve clients’ engineering needs. We help design, build, and operate businesses at speed and scale, leading transformations by leveraging innovation labs and core capabilities.

We are seeking global innovators to help build tomorrow’s enterprise. As a PLM Consultant, you will engage with clients’ business and IT stakeholders to sell and deliver PLM services & solutions. You should be comfortable working on transformation strategies, analyzing capabilities, processes, systems, and people, and identifying gaps to meet strategic objectives. You will oversee requirement definitions, review designs, validate solutions, and drive value realization throughout program lifecycles.

You will lead PLM transformations to deliver measurable value, engage with clients to build consensus, and coordinate delivery across multiple work streams such as Configuration, Integration, OCM, and Value Realization. You will manage agile teams of functional and technical consultants in a globally distributed environment, mitigating risks and maximizing outcomes. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive PLM strategies aligned with client goals
• Lead cross-functional teams to design and deploy PLM solutions that streamline processes
• Support sales teams in developing PLM opportunities and proposals
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and address challenges
• Partner with engineering teams to evaluate and implement PLM software solutions
• Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of learning
• Establish KPIs to measure PLM initiative effectiveness
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards related to PLM

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor\’s degree in engineering, business, or related field
• 10+ years of experience in PLM strategy, development, and implementation
• Strong understanding of PLM principles and tools (e.g., PTC Windchill, Siemens Teamcenter, Dassault ENOVIA)
• Excellent consulting, analytical, and facilitation skills
• Proven leadership in complex, multi-site PLM initiatives
• Experience in industries such as manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, etc.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master\’s degree (preferred)
• Sales experience (a plus)
• Project management certification (e.g., PMP) (a plus)
