For our department Corporate Com., Media & Public Relations within General Services , we are looking for a (an):
Senior Communication Specialist (m/f/x)
Responsibilities:
- Manage the communication plan, as well as the format and content of the corporate website, in collaboration with relevant departments to achieve defined objectives.
- Design and implement digital media strategies and action plans to ensure it supports the goals set by all departments effectively.
- Ensure an effective internal communication service and coordinate the organization of high-profile corporate events.
- Build strong press relations by coordinating press and corporate advertising campaigns, as well as public relations activities.
- Handle inquiries and complaints from the press, the general public, and affiliated organizations, ensuring timely and professional responses.
- Develop a wide variety of communication tools and ensure the relevance of content across various media, while adhering to the budget allocated for specific actions.
- Provide expert advice to company departments on communication actions, including budget considerations, timelines, and objectives.
- Measure the outcomes of various actions and provide recommendations to enhance the effectiveness of communication tools and methods.
Required Profile:
Minimum Required Criteria:
- Have a higher education degree in communication, public relations, journalism, or digital media and/or proven professional experience in one of these fields.
- Have at least 5 years of experience in a similar position.
- Have strong expertise in the Luxembourgish and Greater Region press landscape.
- Proven ability to manage communication-related projects with diverse stakeholders.
- Be able to collaborate closely with internal and external partners.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with a diplomatic and professional demeanor.
- Be fluent in French, English, and German (spoken and written).
- Be proficient in standard computer tools and digital communication platforms.
- Flexibility to travel occasionally for work-related events or projects.
- Have strong writing skills with meticulous document proofreading abilities.
- Be capable of working independently and as part of a team.
- Be proactive and solution-oriented.
- Have strong analytical, synthesis, and organizational skills.
- Be creative, open-minded, and innovative.
Desired or to be Acquired Criteria:
- Good knowledge of Luxembourgish.
- Proficiency in department-specific and company-specific tools and procedures.
The Ideal Candidate:
