Our Data Science team drives data-driven decision-making based on complex data analysis. As a key team member, you will enhance our data product landscape by experimenting with, deploying, and testing forecast models to propel our business forward.

(Senior) Data Scientist – Forecasting (m/f/d)

Location: remote, Germany; remote, Spain

Your responsibilities

• Lead developmentof forecastingmodels, with a focus on demandforecasting. This includesunderstandingbusinessneeds, dataanalysis, solutiondevelopment, and deployment.
• Develop, validate, and deploy time series forecasting models in Python (e.g., LSTM, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, CatBoost, LightGBM, ARIMA) to enhance forecast accuracy.
• Conduct complex data analysis to derive insights and propose actionable solutions to stakeholders.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Data Scientists, Engineers, Analysts, Product Managers, and Business Stakeholders.
• Continuously improve forecasting processes, tools, and methodologies through observation, feedback, and proactive suggestions.

Your Qualifications

• Severalyearsof professional experience in end-to-end Data Science projectdevelopment, specializing in (demand)forecastingwithin eCommerce.
• Master’s degree or higher in a quantitative field (Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, etc.).
• Proficiency in SQL and Python, with strong skills in data modeling, structures, and visualization.
• Familiarity with software development tools (Git, Docker) and cloud environments (Azure, AWS).
• A proactive, problem-solving, and analytical mindset with excellent communication skills in English.
