Job Description: PR Director for Entertainment & Cinema

We are seeking a skilled PR Director to define and execute strategic communication initiatives for our entertainment and cinema sectors, including our OTT product WOW.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement comprehensive PR strategies, focusing on communication goals for our entertainment & cinema segments.
2. Manage the planning, execution, monitoring, and evaluation of holistic PR campaigns, including agency coordination, success tracking, and results optimization with strategic recommendations.
3. Coordinate with social media, marketing, media strategy, and event departments to ensure an integrated overview of paid, earned, and owned media budgets.
4. Conduct ongoing market and trend analysis related to content, products, innovations, and competitor pricing developments.
5. Collaborate closely with Content, WOW, Sport PR, Corporate Communications, Marketing, and Social Media teams to ensure aligned external communication.
6. Create regular reports to generate insights and continuous improvement suggestions; manage communication during PR crises, ensuring coordinated crisis response with internal stakeholders.
7. Lead a team of high-performing PR professionals, positioning our brands as market leaders in Germany through innovative and responsible practices.

Qualifications:

1. Degree in business, journalism, marketing, or a related field, with 8-10 years of experience in PR, corporate communications, or journalism, preferably in the media industry; at least 5 years in a leadership role.
2. Strong team collaboration and creative problem-solving skills, with a focus on practical implementation and continuous optimization.
3. Proven leadership in dynamic environments, ability to translate strategy into actionable tasks, and experience in developing teams to meet high standards.
4. Experience managing successful PR campaigns, external agencies, and competitor monitoring to differentiate Sky in the market.
5. Ability to develop and execute strategic PR initiatives that drive business results.
6. Excellent interpersonal skills, confidence in engaging with internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership.
7. Fluent in German and proficient in English (spoken and written).
