Principal Industry Consultant – GCP Cloud Architecture, Berlin

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced German-speaking Principal Industry Consultant – GCP Cloud Architecture for our operations in Germany. This client-facing role involves working closely with clients to drive cloud transformation initiatives, provide industry insights, and shape strategic technology solutions, ensuring architectural integrity and guiding organizations through their cloud journey.

Key Responsibilities

1. Client Engagement & Consulting: Act as a trusted advisor, lead cloud strategy discussions, drive cloud migration and modernization initiatives, and provide architectural guidance during project phases.
2. Cloud Architecture & Solution Design: Develop cloud architectures aligned with standards, define strategies for migration and optimization, and oversee cloud implementations for security, scalability, and performance.
3. Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing: Collaborate with internal teams, act as a bridge between clients and technical teams, and contribute to best practices and reusable assets.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in Google Cloud architecture, consulting, or solution design.
• Proven expertise in large-scale cloud solutions, preferably on GCP.
• Strong understanding of enterprise IT, cloud transformation, and industry trends.
• Hands-on experience in cloud migration and modernization projects.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills in German and English.
• Familiarity with cloud-native architectures, DevOps, and security practices.
• Experience working with Google Cloud engineering teams or hyperscalers is a plus.
• Experience with AI projects on Google Cloud is advantageous.
