SAP BI Inhouse Consultant (m/f/d)

Job Description:

In the course of digitalization, changing markets, increasing crises and uncertainties, reliable and aggregated data in real time is decisive for the success of a company.
Therefore, G+D has established a global Business Intelligence Center (BIC) to proactively manage the ever-increasing demands on data analysis and reporting.

For our Business Intelligence Center (BIC) department, we are looking for an SAP BW Consultant (m/f/d) with a focus on HR Reporting to start as soon as possible.

Your responsibilities:

• Advising the business units on the definition and implementation of reporting requirements
• Serving as a competent contact for BI & Analytics topics, especially for Human Resources (SAP HCM and SuccessFactors) and hybrid modelling approaches
• Managing sub-projects and overall project coordination
• Implementing reporting requirements in the SAP BW backend (SAP BW 7.4 and BW/4HANA)
• Creating queries and dashboards (SAP Analytics Cloud, Power BI)
• Participating in international roll-outs and system changes (upgrades, patches, HANA migration)
• Developing IT concepts and implementing them in the respective tools
• Ensuring ongoing operation in the area of SAP Business Intelligence

Qualifications:

• Degree in computer science, economics, or comparable professional experience
• Professional experience in HR Reporting with SAP BI/BW, including understanding HR-relevant key figures and advising stakeholders on report optimization
• Experience in developing innovative SAP BI solutions
• Several years of proven project experience with SAP BW/4HANA and hybrid data modelling
• Knowledge of ABAP OO, CDS Views, SQL Script is advantageous
• Knowledge of SAP Analytics Cloud is desirable
• Deep technical understanding in ABAP and AMDP development
• Excellent communication skills in German and English
