Senior Program Manager - Expansion, Amazon Logistics, Last Mile Expansion

Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Program Manager to streamline and elevate our processes, driving program improvement and optimization within the Amazon Last Mile Expansion business in Germany. The Senior Program Manager will be proficient with data, automation tools, and SQL/Python to automate processes and increase efficiency, enabling us to deliver larger results. The role involves partnering with station managers and operators to facilitate the launch and expansion of the program across MEU.

The Amazon Last Mile Expansion program is a new model supporting speed initiatives and on-demand capacity in the EU. Powered by a mobile app integrated with advanced logistics systems, it allows operators to onboard, schedule deliveries, and navigate via in-app mapping. This disruptive technology aims to transform industry practices.

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, passionate, analytical, detail-oriented, and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills. They should be comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment, with a strong bias for action and data-driven decision-making, and have a proven track record of delivering results.

Key Responsibilities

1. Own and drive the launch and expansion of the program across MEU, coordinating with all teams to ensure successful implementation in new locations.
2. Define future expansion roadmaps to meet broader speed objectives in collaboration with business partners.
3. Recommend changes and implement scalable processes using project management and stakeholder management skills.
4. Partner with WW Flex/Last Mile teams to address challenges, adopting standard practices, and collaborate with tech teams to develop automated tools and solutions.

Daily Activities

Ensure all necessary actions are taken for successful station launches across MEU. Continuously improve processes and collaborate with teams to scale operations effectively.

Basic Qualifications

• A degree
• Fluent in German and English (written and verbal)
• Advanced knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) and SQL
• Experience in program or project management
• Experience working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams
• Experience in process improvement initiatives using data and metrics
• Experience defining program requirements and utilizing data for improvements

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in end-to-end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership
• Experience leading process improvements
• Stakeholder management skills at various organizational levels
• Experience building processes, project management, and scheduling
