Our client is an international group in the education and training industry based in Geneva. The Group CFO is expected to handle the following:

Responsibilities:

  1. Strategy: Define and execute the financial strategy to align with the structure’s mission, vision, and objectives. Collaborate with managing directors and the Executive Committee to provide actionable financial insights and strategic guidance. Lead financial forecasting, budgeting, and planning to support organizational goals and maintain financial health.
  2. Financial Operations: Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, reporting, treasury, and tax compliance, across 3 countries. Ensure accurate and timely preparation of monthly shareholder financial reports, annual financial statements, and audit processes. Establish and enforce robust internal controls and processes to safeguard organizational assets. Manage cash flow and liquidity.
  3. Risk Management & Compliance: Ensure compliance with all applicable financial regulations and reporting requirements in each jurisdiction. Partner with legal & tax advisors and local teams to manage audits.
  4. Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a finance team of 25 across Europe.

Candidate Requirements:

  1. Master’s degree in a relevant business field and equivalent prior work experience and training.
  2. Experience in audit.
  3. Organized and detail-oriented.
  4. Fluent in English; French or Spanish are a plus.
  5. Excellent knowledge of accounting and financial processes.
