Endress+Hauser Flow is the market leader of industrial flowmeters for liquids, gas and steam. Our Product Safety and Certification department focuses on Explosion Protection, Product Safety, Metrology and Functional Safety.
We are currently looking for a Functional Safety Expert to join the team.

Role Responsibilities

1. You conceptualise, evaluate, analyse and verify our flowmeters for use in functional safety applications.
2. You will accompany the internal development processes according to Lean Innovation as a technical expert.
3. You are responsible for the safety-related implementation of safety issues in agile, interdisciplinary project teams with a focus on our customers and products.
4. You are involved in the group-wide network of experts on functional safety.
5. You manage the certification process with external bodies.
6. You work in national and international standards committees.

Qualification Profile

1. You have a degree in electrical engineering, technical computer science, or comparable qualification.
2. You have a sound knowledge of functional safety according to IEC 61508.
3. You have general experience in quality and project management.
4. You are a team player, work systematically and independently, take initiative, think and act in a networked manner.
5. Business fluent in English, German is an advantage.
