ABOUT THE ROLE:
As eCommerce Intern, you will be working within our regional eCommerce Team based in Rolle. This team is responsible for driving accelerated profitable growth and has been highlighted as one of the Big Bets of our Strat25. The eCommerce Team covers a big variety of markets and focuses on Brick and Click Retailers, Pure Players, Marketplaces, and Quick Commerce for our key brands (Glade, Duck, Mr Muscle, Pronto, Autan, Raid, Ecover, etc).
Through the rollout of our regional strategy, we focus on driving our business objectives from a sales, profit and market share perspective in eCommerce whilst embedding new capabilities into the local markets. The role will be directly impacting projects on eCommerce NPD, Digital Shelf Management, Analytics Capabilities, and new Route-to-Market expansion.
The role has exposure to the whole business with project opportunities that will have you working cross functionally with supply chain, finance, RD&E and marketing. You will also be able to get more hands on with Amazon and understand how we work with them globally, regionally, and locally. You will get a unique insight in what it takes to successfully launch new brands on Amazon and develop emerging markets whilst optimising the basics to succeed on Amazon.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Sales and Share Reporting: interpret and analyze existing eCommerce data, focusing on the major KPIs and report insights to local markets. Responsible for Data Quality Management with Profitero.
- Strategy & Insights: manage overall insights to ensure we deliver qualitative and quantitative support for new product launches, tentpole events and data driven innovation mapping. Support local markets with data queries and engage with local markets on improvement opportunities to existing dashboards.
- New Product Development (NPD): ongoing monitoring of ePack retail readiness using the NPD tracker and working closely with the regional marketing team and project managers.
- Content Management: Support the teams in content development and ensure local markets are updated on latest tactics to deliver best-in-class product detail pages.
- Content Syndication: partner with local teams to support Salsify adoption and maintenance and coordinate the Global Data Synchronisation Network (GDSN) ways of working in local markets.
- Amazon ISTA6 Certification: responsible for upload of Amazon Certificates on Vendor Central.
- Amazon Brand Registry: responsible for all Brand Registry related topics.
- Digital Activations: support the retail media digital activation execution, providing best practices, principles, and feedback.
- Ratings & Reviews: support regional marketing teams with sentiment analysis and ratings and review strategy/opportunities.
- Buy Now Functionalities: support Digital Shelf Lead and media champions with the implementation of buy now widgets across media campaigns and local websites.
- Regional eCommerce Meetings: Collecting and preparing data, presentations and materials for bimonthly eCommerce updates and our annual eCommerce summit. This includes financial deep dives, share reporting and digital shelf scorecards.
- Project Support: Assisting team cross functionally with project work as and when required.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING:
- BSc or MSc Degree in Business Administration, Marketing Management, Sales or similar.
- Will be considered a competitive advantage previous experience (preferable in a FMCG company) with a good/developed knowledge in Digital to execute at best the expansion of the e-commerce channel.

- Mobile, after the internship, in one (or more) of our key local country location. Mid and long term: willing to have an international career.
