Job Description:
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a full-time position to join our innovative and multi award-winning Professional Scientific Services (PSS) team. We are recruiting for a Group Leader Position to provide long term technical services to, and collaborate with our client at a Large Scale Manufacturing facility in Visp, Switzerland.
In this position, you will be part of the environmental monitoring (EM) and utility monitoring (UM) team. You will be responsible for the PSS team and for ensuring all EM and UM sample processes are managed in accordance with defined procedures and to the highest quality standards.
Qualifications:
If you have a university degree (BSc/ MSc/ University of Applied Sciences) as a (pharmaceutical or industrial) biotechnologist , industrial microbiologist , or process engineer with at least four years of relevant work experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry and some management experience, we would like to hear from you.
The ideal candidate will furthermore have experience in:
- Coordinating and supervising a team of laboratory technicians/samplers
- Carrying out root cause analyses (microbiological origin) during the commissioning of an industrial water treatment plant
- Understanding of pipework and instrument flow diagram
- Supporting sample collection and management within controlled environments
- Identifying any opportunities for improvement of quality and service and working with the team to implement continuous improvement
- Working accurately, and within GMP documentation systems (Trackwise, etc.)
- Working across teams, excellent communicator and collaborator
- Fluent in German and English
Additional Information:
This is a full-time permanent position with Eurofins PSS, providing services at the client site.
