Job Description:
The Application Manager (AM) is a role within the Information Technology (IT) Corporate team. The AM ensures stakeholder satisfaction and maintains awareness of business needs and priorities within the scope of his/her projects.
The Application Manager is responsible for overseeing all applications used internally as well as those used by bluesign’s customers. The Application Manager will ensure the coherence of the business logic of the applications and facilitate communication between the business teams with the help of the Product Owner who is responsible for defining the business needs to drive growth. This position requires a highly organized and efficient individual with a deep understanding of the business. This person must be able to communicate with both technical and non-technical teams.
Major Responsibilities:
- Gather requirements from the business and translate them into use cases.
- Manage business analysis performed by internal or external team members.
- Maintain a clear schema of the global solution.
- Easily transfer knowledge and experience from the business to drive the growth of the platform and enforce the solutions offered to customers.
- Report progress on operational issues to the Head of IT.
- Suggest business improvements or solutions according to the strategic objectives agreed by the management team and the Head of IT.
- Support the business in resolving their issues.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience (ideally > 10 years) in software governance.
- Solid ITIL knowledge.
- Solid knowledge of Agile Methodology.
- 5+ years of experience as Scrum Master, Scrum Master certification is a must.
- Stay abreast of the latest processes and Agile frameworks.
- Proven experience (5+ years) of management of software development teams and IT providers.
- Experience in Test Management.
- Experience in Change Management to support the growth with the business team.
- Experience in a big international company.
- Client-facing experience, good relationship builder.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
