You, as a Senior Logistics Lead, are responsible for designing, optimizing, and improving processes and systems involved in the logistics operations of BioAtrium and leading a Logistic and Dispensing team Operators and Process Expert. The primary focus is on safety and quality while enhancing efficiency in the movement and management of goods and materials throughout the supply chain.

Key responsibilities:

1. Responsibility for all activities of his team in operational logistics, leading, evaluating, coaching, and developing employees.
2. Precise communication between logistics and production as well as internal interfaces.
3. Monitoring and controlling the time recordings of the team.
4. Setting priorities and allocating resources to meet deadlines.
5. Take over assigned projects (SAP/MES/Delta V) to integrate logistics processes with ERP systems, WMS, and other technology platforms for seamless operations.
6. Support Process Expert in reviewing and implementing process-related procedures to identify areas for improvement and optimize operations.
7. Ensure reporting of non-conformances and initiation of quality issue records and investigations under cGMP.
8. Evaluate process performance and deviations while implementing a culture of continuous improvement.
9. Propose new or improved technologies to enhance quality, cost efficiencies, personnel safety, and regulatory compliance.
10. Collect and analyze data on key logistics metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
11. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders such as Manufacturing, Site Distribution/Logistics, and Quality.

Key requirements:

1. A minimum of a Bachelor’s/graduate degree in Logistics Management, Supply Chain, or equivalent is required.
2. Further qualification/post-graduate in Warehousing, Logistics, Supply Chain, or Operations is strongly preferred.
3. Training in Lean, Process Excellence, Six Sigma, etc. is preferred.
4. Proven track record in operations leadership within a multinational organization.
5. Advanced years of experience in leading Logistics/Production Supply or Supply Chain position in Biopharma.
6. Strong people leadership and interpersonal skills.
7. The ability to support, develop, and execute strategic plans for logistics and supply chain management.
8. Analytical and problem-solving skills to assess complex logistical challenges.
9. Excellent communication skills to liaise with internal departments, external customers, and stakeholders.
10. Knowledge of local and international regulations governing GMP/GDP, transportation, and logistics.
11. Proven ability to manage logistics budgets effectively and identify cost-saving opportunities.
12. A commitment to continuous improvement, focusing on optimizing logistics processes.
