This is a unique opportunity to expand HolidayCheck’s travel media business, focusing on growth opportunities both within Germany and Europe and globally across key international markets. As a Key Account Manager (m/f/d) , you are responsible for expanding the opportunities of large partners in the tourism sector and building long-term partnerships. You will report to the Head of Global Sales and support him in achieving sales targets and your individual KPI. The role involves working closely with your partners to support partners‘ marketing needs and position and establish HolidayCheck as a trusted and powerful digital partner.
You will be able to demonstrate your strong understanding and knowledge by selling digital media solutions to major brands and partners. You have a deep understanding of the tourism value chain and digital marketing and are able to identify important contacts in your network and uncover opportunities for HolidayCheck. You are genuinely interested in evaluating the customer’s real needs and passionately working with the entire HolidayCheck team to find unique solutions for your customers. You will be ambitious and determined in achieving success for your customer, HolidayCheck and yourself.
In addition to being responsible for increasing media sales, you will be responsible for servicing major accounts, acquiring new customers, building a sales pipeline by breaking down barriers and converting potential customers into partners. Your new position offers you great autonomy.
YOUR MAIN TASKS ARE:
- You will familiarize yourself with our HolidayCheck team, immerse yourself in our advertising solutions and products, and build important relationships.
- You will develop a portfolio of sales materials, presentations and supporting documents tailored to our HolidayCheck products and services.
- Initiating and conducting personal customer presentations with major brands and partners to acquire new customers and achieve our sales goals.
- Your valuable feedback to product management helps us develop products that offer added value to our partners.
- You work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, product and ad operations; sustainable, long-term and successful partnerships are your priority.
- Your existing network will help you achieve your sales targets.
- In addition, your tasks will include building and developing strong relationships with important external and internal stakeholders.
- You continuously expand your knowledge in the travel and media industry in order to support the development of innovative products at HolidayCheck and to always be able to offer your customers tailor-made solutions to meet their requirements.

What you need to succeed
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in digital marketing or equivalent experience through your professional career.
- Understanding and knowledge of the ad tech, display, native, brand and performance marketing landscape.
- Many years of experience in sales and new customer development as well as strong commercial acumen.
- Experience in working with media agencies and a network of relationships and a track record of building and growing relationships. An excellent relationship builder who becomes a trusted and valued partner to our clients.
- Excellent communication skills and presentation style, both to internal and external stakeholders.
- A “storyteller” with the ability to write compelling presentations and proposed solutions.
- Strong ability to identify opportunities and develop a tailored strategy for each brand using our portfolio and solutions.
- Strong desire to achieve and exceed goals.
- Willingness to get involved and interest in working as a team player with the entire company to ensure customer success.
- You have business fluent German and English skills.
- You enjoy working in an international team.
