As an Android Engineer (f/m/x) at Tomorrow, you will play a crucial role in the ongoing development and enhancement of our Mobile Banking App, which is at the heart of our business. We take pride in providing a top-rated mobile banking experience to our customers, and your expertise will be key in introducing innovative features and ensuring seamless integration with our existing infrastructure.

In this role, you will collaborate effectively and proactively with Mobile and Backend Developers, Designers, and Product Owners in an agile environment with regular release cycles. Our flat organizational structure and streamlined decision-making processes promote a hands-on, collaborative atmosphere where your knowledge and skills have a significant impact on the entire app development process.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing innovative features for the product team

• Maintaining, refactoring, and optimizing the Android app

• Participating in incident management and shipping app releases

What you can expect

What we’re looking for

• You have several years of experience building Android apps using modern technologies and brand new Android platform features

• You are familiar with Jetpack Compose and feel at home with Kotlin including Coroutines & Flows as our codebase is written with them

• You are eager to develop seamless accessible native app experiences and beautiful custom UIs that are key to our user experience

• You thrive in an engineering environment with high professional standards and enjoy contributing with your problem solving and diligent work ethic.

• You bring first experience with testing processes because quality is something we strive for in every aspect of app development from the user interface, to having a maintainable architecture and source code

• Preferably you are familiar with KMP, UDF, and potentially some of the other latest features of the Android platform

• You are fluent in English

• You support the idea to create a better future for everyone by using money as a force for good.

Salary

57.000-67.000 EUR annual gross + one-time 5.000 EUR in virtual shares

Working from home and mobile work are therefore integral parts of our remote-friendly work culture. At the same time, we believe in the huge advantages of meeting up and working together in person. Our fantastic office in Hamburg is the perfect space for this and available to you any time. Our office is wheelchair-accessible, has ground-level access and offers flexible options for designing your workspace. We would like our future Android Engineer (f/m/x) to spend a minimum of 3 days per quarter working on-site in our office. We will be happy to discuss all other details with you when we meet you (virtually or in person).
